Inver Grove Heights, MN – Hybrid (On-site 2-3 days a week)

 

Calculated Hire is partnering with our client, headquartered in Inver Grove Heights, to bring on a Compliance Specialist. This client is a Global Fortune 100 Agribusiness leader that is committed to ethical and responsible practices across the agriculture industry and their partners. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to support our Trade and Sales Operations Excellence team with compiling required documentation of trade and sale receipts, while creating a process to streamline the collection and organization of this sensitive information.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focused on imports/exports, customs brokerage and freight forwarding.
  • Review and verify trade and sale execution documents for compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal requirements in all documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and protected information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the documentation collection and execute on the compliance process.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on compliance-related activities, trends, and emerging risks.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5-6 years of experience in Compliance, HR, Agriculture or related field.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
  • Experience working with sensitive and protected information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for phone and email correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with global trade, agribusiness regulations and customs brokerage.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Knowledge of compliance software or systems.
  • Certifications in compliance or related fields.
