Cybersecurity Architect

Our Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a Cybersecurity Architect to support the assessment and implementation of new cybersecurity measures as it pertains to their website and ERP system. They're looking for a candidate who can implement standard high-level security protocol and communicates processes to the on-site development teams. They're looking for an expert in this field who is familiar with end-to-end process creation as this is a critical role to their team.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years' of relevant work experience within the realm of cybersecurity engineering/architecture
  • Experience in production systems design including: High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Performance, Efficiency, Security
  • Ability to work with defensive coding practices and patterns for high-availability
  • Test-Driven development and effective unit test creation
  • Effective in modeling data within both SWL and NoSQL databases
  • Proficient in designing and implementing RESTful web services
  • Mastery of modern scripting language (preferably Python)
  • Deep understanding of modern web application frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Spring MVC, Node.js
  • Experience writing SQL queries against a relational database
  • Proficient in front-end technology and framework such as: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS, ReactJS, and JQuery
  • Proficient in a Linux or Unix based environment

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and pair with other product team members to create secure, reliable, scalable software solutions
  • Write custom code or scripts to automate infrastructure, monitoring services, and test cases
  • Write custom code/scripts to do “destructive testing” to ensure adequate resiliency in production
  • Identify product enhancements to create a better experience for end users
  • Assess, identify and implement technical/security solutions
  • Create meaningful architecture diagrams and other documentation needed for security reviews
  • Create and architect foundational code elements that can be reused many times by a product
