Summary:

In this role, you will manage all aspects of creating an excellent customer service experience for current and prospective customers. You will be working with the crop nutrients team where you will be setting up contractors for fertilizer that get sent out all over the country. You must be a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with a commitment to quality, accuracy and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong analytical and customer service skills, and the ability to work in both a team environment and on self-directed tasks are essential.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Complete general administrative duties on time with high quality.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all customers (internal and external) including answering and responding to calls in a timely manner.
  • Promptly resolve customer requests, questions and complaints that frequently require analysis of detail to determine the best use of resources to reach resolution.
  • Efficiently maintain the data storage system including, but not limited to daily cash receipts, prepayments, product sales, the budget billing program, marketing programs, customer files and customer delivery dispatches.
  • Set up customer contracts, process work orders, transfer documents and perform accurate data entry into various systems.
  • Assemble and maintain files including accurately entering all information, keeping files updated and maintaining complete electronic file documentation.
  • Comparing/verifying/processing information
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, arrange facilities, logistics and catering and distribute meeting information.
  • Communicate daily with the supervisor on customer, competition, safety and financial issues.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet all required timelines.
  • Maintain a full understanding of company products and services.
  • Work with sensitive material and maintain highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required):

  • 2 years’ experience in a customer service role
  • High School diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & familiar with JD Edwards or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business needs
  • Farming background or agriculture experience, preferred
