Job Description:

We are looking for a driven, dynamic self-starter to join our marketing and communications team as a project manager, helping to plan and execute a variety market research projects, including primary and secondary research, focus groups, and quantitative and longitudinal studies. The market research project manager will: 

  • Manage projects based on business goals and requirements, from beginning to end Manage a master annual calendar of projects, develop detailed project timelines and budget estimates, and coordinate related deliverables and meetings 
  • Maintain project schedules and scopes, escalating when necessary
  • Collaborate with cross-functional (and cross-business unit) teams
  • Manage and coordinate with vendors Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (including executive-level) and manage expectations to ensure all teams are aligned on strategy and delivery
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and internal teams on a regular basis to ensure clarity on next steps and project milestones

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred Understanding of the methodologies and process of primary and secondary research (experience managing research projects preferred) 
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint (advanced Excel skills preferred) 
  • Experience with project management software (Workfront preferred)
  • High level of organizational skills, including great attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle changing priorities, and simultaneously handle multiple projects/priorities
  • Strong business acumen and superior communication skills, both verbally and electronically, with demonstrated examples of relationship-building across a highly matrixed organization
  • Ability to translate the big picture into milestones and deadlines
