Our Fortune 18 Retail client's Marketing team is looking for an experienced, strategic individual to reimagine and accelerate its organic social strategy and voice. The new Organic Social Lead will be a critical member of the Marketing team and will be instrumental in the company's becoming the destination for all soft home goods and bringing this experience to life for our customers. As the Organic Social Media Lead you’ll support the maintenance and growth of the client's social media channels and communities. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of the social landscape, a passion for content strategy and creation, and the ability to execute and analyze the results of evergreen content and full-scale campaigns.


  • Define, manage and execute social media vision to drive brand discovery and customer engagement via community management
  • Design, develop, manage, and scale organization’s community to the next level
  • Moderate and engage with community members and respond to questions, comments, and requests as community moderator
  • Reach out and partner with online communities in the home/bedding space
  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at improving the quality, breadth, and outcomes of the social community, including content creation (both informal everyday chat and larger content pieces) as part of the overall community engagement calendar
  • Develop content and implement social media strategies via still visuals and video for social channels, with a priority on video for TikTok, Reels, Youtube, etc.
  • Help edit content for social channels, with a clear understanding of how users engage with social creative across formats and platforms
  • Collaborate as part of an agile team to produce original video content for social and digital platforms from script to shoot to edit and delivery
  • Help develop and edit repeatable content series to drive ongoing engagement
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, Influencer and PR to optimize key brand message and perception drivers through social media
  • Maintain deep understanding of social media metrics and data analysis and ownership of data touchpoints
  • Contribute and present strategy, learnings and recommendations to senior leadership via meetings and document writing
  • Develop and own multiple team KPIs for social media strategy to drive results toward organization business goals over short and long-term that are reported to senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with channel partners – Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube/Google, TikTok, etc. – to ensure channel best practices and first-to-market opportunities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3-4 years of relevant work experience in marketing/social media/content marketing
  • Experience working with multiple Social Media tools
  • Experience managing large scale marketing programs and writing customer-facing content
  • Experience of using the latest social media monitoring/analysis tools and platforms
  • Ability to generate unique, fun, quirky video content to elevate the brand's social media presence and drive organic engagement
  • Fast, effective editing skills, with ability to bring a strong POV to edits, but never lets ego get in the way of being a good teammate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others with words
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally and work with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Can effectively cope with change, shift gears comfortably, decide and act without having the total picture; ability to cut your own way through ambiguity and engaging management smartly
