Successfully manage multiple Distribution and Transmission projects within a multi-year grid improvement program portfolio. Manage scope, schedule, cost, and risk in accordance with the Project Management Center of Excellence. Operate effectively in a project team that includes matrixed internal stakeholders who are critical to successful program outcomes. The Project Manager I may have relationships with individuals in various organizations ranging from individual contributors to Senior Department Leadership (i.e. individual contributors up to executive management) and will receive general direction from Project Director or Senior PM.

 Responsibilities / Scope:

·      Manage projects ranging from $5-50 Million with a low-moderate level of complexity

·      Projects assigned are typically Green I or Green II projects per the project profile matrix

·      Serve as unifying agent providing leadership, management, direction, coordination, and control of the overall project in accordance with established policies, procedures, and systems

·      Individual has the authority to make significant choices and decisions without specific guidance or direction from supervisor

·      Compare alternative courses of action and make decisions in the gray area

Required Qualifications:

·      Must have project management experience

·      Graduation from a two-year college or university

·      Working knowledge of project management principles

·      Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving

·      Project related work experience

·      Risk Management

·      Project Leadership

·      Proven Collaborative Team Member
