Recruiting Coordinator – Utilities

Location – Charlotte, NC

 

Calculated Hire is looking to add a Recruiting Coordinator to our utility client in Charlotte, NC. As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will facilitate the recruiting and hiring processes by providing technical and logistical support to recruiters. You will ensure the satisfaction of hiring managers, candidates and new hires by providing responsive, high quality, professional service and support in the recruiting function.

 

You will have the following responsibilities

·      Coordinating the hiring process with recruiters and/or hiring managers

·      Ensuring timely and accurate data entry into the Workday applicant tracking system

·      Revising offers in Workday per the guidelines provided by the recruiter

·      Scheduling applicants for interviews and pre-employment testing

·      Coordinating travel arrangements for applicants

·      Monitoring the pre-employment screening for new hires & reporting results to the recruiter as needed

·      Recognizing and proposing solutions to improve the recruiting processes and workflows

 

Basic/Required Qualifications

·      5+ years administrative experience or a 4 year degree

·      At least 1 year of administrative experience within Human Resources

·      Experience with MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, etc.)

 

Desired Qualifications:

·      Experience with the Workday applicant tracking system

·      Experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or Recruiter in support of utility industry

·      Experience working with confidential information

·      Experience interfacing with upper management, peers and external vendors

·      Proven experience working in a detailed, deadline driven environment

·      Demonstrated professionalism, tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment

·      Demonstrated customer relationship skills

·      Effective written and oral communication skills

·      Demonstrated ability to manage relationships at all levels of the organization

·      Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure

·      Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously

·      Demonstrated understanding of/experience with recruiting processes
