Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Capital Markets)

Location: New York/New Jersey (hybrid 1x a week)

Job Level: Junior/Mid-Level (1-3 years of exp.)

Role Overview: Responsible for overseeing non-financial regulatory reporting activities in the region. This role will require you to ensure that all regulatory processes and systems are in place, and that they adhere to regulatory standards. You will collaborate with various teams including compliance, technology, business, and middle office to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Conduct daily checks on processes and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·      Support first line of defense conducting reporting, following up, data analysis, following up with various level/stakeholders.

·     Oversee control checks to ensure proper remediation and compliance.

·      Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as compliance, technology, business, and middle office to address regulatory reporting needs.

·      Perform data analysis and follow-up with stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting.

·      Provide support for regulatory reporting projects and initiatives.

·      Engage with regulators and counterparties as needed.

Qualifications:

·      Junior-level professional with experience in regulatory reporting, capital markets or related fields

·      Preferably product knowledge in equities, fixed income, account information systems,

·      Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

·      Familiarity with SQL is preferred.

·      Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·      Willingness to travel to New York at least once a week.

·      Preferably bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Finance, Business, etc.).

·      Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

·      Able to adapt and be flexible in environment.
