12-Month Contract, Potential for Hire

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Trade Credit Analyst to join our premier Retail Client on a new target account strategy team. The Analyst will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data from top target accounts. As a key contributor to our client’s operations, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Microsoft Excel, strong communication skills, and analytical mindset to provide valuable insights that will drive decision-making processes. This role requires someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to process improvement.

Responsibilities:

·        Establish and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders from target accounts.

·        Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and preferences.

·        Proactively identify areas of improvement based on client feedback and data analysis.

·        Interact with top target accounts to gather relevant data and insights.

·        Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, clean, and analyze large datasets.

·        Implement advanced Excel functions, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups, to extract meaningful information.

·        Identify trends and patterns to determine what target accounts value most from their partnership with our company, and formulate decisions based on the analysis of target account data.

·        Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline data collection and analysis procedures.

·        Identify opportunities for automation to increase efficiency and accuracy.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall workflow.

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Finance, Analytics, etc.).

·        0-2 years of professional experience in a data analysis or related role.

·        Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Ability to interact confidently with top target accounts and internal stakeholders.

·        Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

·        Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to achieving results.

·        Proven experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.
