Marketing Coordinator – Audience Development & CRM
6-month contract

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client, a major entertainment company, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator specializing in Audience Development & CRM for a 6-month on-site contract in Los Angeles, CA. In this role, you will play a key part in acquiring and retaining audiences across digital and social platforms by managing paid media campaigns, sending newsletters and push notifications, and optimizing content to drive app installs and newsletter signups. You will collaborate closely with editorial and commerce teams, create and optimize ads, manage landing pages, process invoices, and stay current on emerging marketing trends. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable with both data analysis and project management, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where testing and learning are encouraged.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Send newsletters and push notifications in coordination with editorial and commerce teams, managing content calendar planning and aligning with business priorities.
- Create and optimize paid media campaigns for app downloads and subscription signups, including audience and creative testing to improve ROAS performance.
- Assist with programming and updating commerce and news landing pages to maximize search visibility and engagement, with attention to tentpole events and marketing priorities.
- Process paid media and vendor invoices, track status, and flag inconsistencies to ensure accurate and timely payments.
- Monitor emerging platforms and trends, sharing insights and ideas to grow new audiences and revenue streams.
- Design marketing assets and graphics using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Photoshop, and write compelling copy for campaigns.
- Analyze campaign and content performance using analytics platforms like Adobe Analytics to inform optimization strategies and reporting.
- Manage multiple projects and testing plans simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
- BA/BS or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in digital publishing, email marketing, CRM, performance marketing, or related areas, including developing digital content and/or paid media strategies for a digital publisher.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and effective project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in creating marketing assets and designs using Canva, Figma, or Photoshop, and experience writing marketing copy.
- Understanding of analytics and experience with platforms such as Adobe Analytics to measure and optimize campaign performance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to new challenges, and execute testing plans efficiently.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to learn, grow, and collaborate within a nimble, fun, and supportive team.
