Business Execution Consultant IV / Project Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Duration: 12-Month W2 Contract (Potential Contract-to-Hire)

Compensation: $55–60/hr W2



About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager / Business Execution Consultant to support strategic initiatives within a Capital Markets Operations organization. This role will partner closely with business, operations, and technology teams to drive project execution, facilitate communication across stakeholders, and support the successful delivery of regulatory and operational initiatives.

The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of Project Management, Business Analysis, and Capital Markets experience, with the ability to drive initiatives from requirements gathering through implementation and user acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project execution across multiple Capital Markets initiatives
  • Coordinate with business, operations, technology, and downstream stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, and coordination with business users
  • Assist in developing test scripts and validating business functionality
  • Track project milestones, delivery schedules, risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Facilitate project meetings, provide status updates, and communicate progress to leadership and stakeholders
  • Support operational process improvements and regulatory-driven initiatives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of new processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience
  • Experience supporting Capital Markets, CIB Operations, or other financial markets environments
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
  • Experience driving projects involving business and technology teams
  • Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, UAT coordination, and implementation support
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

  • Collateral Management experience
  • Confirmations experience
  • U.S. Treasury Clearing experience
  • Exposure to regulatory initiatives within Capital Markets
  • Experience working with cleared products or collateral-related operational processes
