Treasury Management Project Manager (Contract)

$45–$60 per hour

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our client is seeking a Treasury Management Project Manager (Contract) to lead the Treasury Management workstream for a bank acquisition integration in Cincinnati, OH. This hybrid role requires 3–4 days on-site per week and focuses on integrating new and ongoing treasury projects, assessing and coordinating testing for products such as ACH, wires, positive pay, remote deposit, and commercial online banking, and ensuring a seamless client transition during conversion. The position reports to the Integration Management Office (IMO) leadership and involves close collaboration with business sponsors, treasury operations, product, technology, vendors, and consulting teams. This is a 5–6 month contract opportunity starting in late November or early December, with remote interviews and a straightforward, one-click application process. Prior bank M&A integration experience is required.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Lead planning and execution of Treasury Management integration projects within the Integration Management Office (IMO) portfolio
• Onboard new and in-flight treasury projects into the integration portfolio, defining scope, milestones, dependencies, and reporting cadence
• Assess testing needs and capabilities across treasury products such as ACH, wires, positive pay, remote deposit, and commercial online banking
• Coordinate test planning and execution, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and mock conversions with QA and technology partners
• Track and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies, and drive timely decisions with business sponsors
• Produce clear, executive-ready status reporting for IMO leadership and business sponsors
• Coordinate across treasury operations, product, technology, vendors, and consultants to support a smooth client transition during bank acquisition integration

WHAT YOU BRING

• 8+ years of project management experience in banking or financial services
• Hands-on experience with at least one bank merger, acquisition, or systems conversion
• Strong working knowledge of Treasury Management products and operations
• Local to Cincinnati, OH and able to work on-site 3–4 days per week
• Experience onboarding projects into a portfolio and managing testing in a regulated environment (preferred)
• Multiple end-to-end bank M&A integrations, ideally within an IMO or PMO (preferred)
• PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
