The ideal candidate will bring direct DTC settlement experience, strong reconciliation and exception-resolution skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external counterparties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Process and monitor daily securities settlement activity across domestic markets.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Perform start-of-day and end-of-day break reconciliations to ensure books and records balance accurately.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Research and resolve settlement breaks, failed trades, and trade exceptions.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Monitor settlement activity across proprietary applications, reconciliation systems, and books-and-records platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Coordinate with Trading, Middle Office, Funding, Operations, and external counterparties to resolve settlement issues.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Investigate discrepancies and determine the appropriate resolution or escalation path.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Maintain accurate documentation while meeting strict market deadlines and settlement cutoffs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Analyze reconciliation breaks and identify recurring issues or process-improvement opportunities.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external stakeholders throughout the settlement lifecycle.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">At least <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">1 year of hands-on securities settlement experience<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: serif;\"> within Capital Markets, Investment Operations, or a similar environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Direct experience supporting settlements through <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">DTC<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Experience performing trade reconciliations, break resolution, or exception management.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Understanding of the post-trade lifecycle from execution through settlement.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Experience with <\/span><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">Broadridge<\/strong><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">, including Impact, GCM, BPS, or similar platforms.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Experience supporting equity and\/or fixed-income settlements.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Familiarity with books-and-records systems, OMS platforms, or proprietary settlement applications.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Experience with settlement fails, counterparty communication, and operational risk management.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">Strong Microsoft Excel skills.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong style=\"font-family: serif;\">Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: serif;\">The ideal candidate is a quick learner who takes ownership of settlement issues, communicates professionally, and is comfortable working through reconciliation breaks under tight deadlines.
