Human Resources Recruiter
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73105
Pay Rate: $28.00 – $32.00/hour
Duration: 6-12 Month Contract
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Target Start Date: September 1, 2026
Position Overview
Our Client is seeking a Human Resources Recruiter to support high-volume, full-cycle recruiting efforts and help drive an efficient, compliant, and candidate-focused hiring process. This role will partner with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to attract, assess, and onboard top talent while ensuring positions move effectively through the recruitment lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is an organized, detail-oriented recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple requisitions simultaneously, and delivers an exceptional candidate experience from application through onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a high volume of open positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding activities.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates and build strong talent pipelines.
- Create, post, and optimize job advertisements across multiple platforms.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support recruitment goals.
- Coordinate interviews and manage scheduling logistics between candidates and interview panels.
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, providing status updates and next steps.
- Provide hiring managers with regular updates regarding candidate pipelines, interview activity, and recruitment progress.
- Manage and maintain job requisitions within Workday, including opening, updating, and closing positions.
- Assist with offer preparation and related hiring activities.
- Initiate and monitor pre-employment requirements, including background checks and onboarding documentation.
- Utilize Workday and Microsoft 365 applications to track recruiting activity, maintain records, and manage workflows.
- Maintain accurate recruitment tracking reports and spreadsheets, ensuring real-time visibility into candidate status and requisition progress.
- Collaborate with internal communications teams on social media and employer branding initiatives, particularly for hard-to-fill roles.
- Prepare recruitment metrics, reports, and status updates for leadership as needed.
- Follow established recruiting processes, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Ensure all recruitment activities align with applicable employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Represent the organization at recruiting events, job fairs, and community outreach activities as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of professional Human Resources experience; OR
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology, or a related field and at least one (1) year of professional Human Resources experience; OR
- An equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
Qualifying Human Resources experience may include one or more of the following areas:
- Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Job analysis
- Position classification
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Civil rights administration
- Payroll administration
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding.
- Experience managing a high volume of requisitions while maintaining quality and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems, preferably Workday.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, Forms, Lists, OneDrive, OneNote, and Planner.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using recruitment metrics and data to improve hiring outcomes.
Preferred Certifications
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
- Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
- SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)
