Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Coordinator
Location: On-site; Herndon, VA
About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support a growing accounting team with a focus on accounts payable and data entry. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-level candidate looking to gain hands-on experience, develop their skills, and work in a collaborative, team-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Process high-volume accounts payable (AP) transactions
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into accounting systems
- Assist with invoice coding, matching, and reconciliations
- Support day-to-day accounting operations and administrative tasks
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of accounting or AP experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work on-site daily and collaborate with a team
- Experience with accounting software such as:
- ProContractor MX (Trimble)
- Procore (preferred, not required)
- Construction industry experience is a plus
